Precast Concrete Erection
Pre-construction planning, lift sequencing, and self-performed precast crews — backed by more than two decades as a PCI-Certified Erector.
Assemblers Group sets precast concrete components on commercial, industrial, civic, and healthcare projects throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and beyond. We engage early with the general contractor, structural engineer, and precast producer so the erection sequence, crane picks, embed plate locations, and bracing scheme are resolved before the first truck arrives.
Every precast package is run by a PCI-trained foreman with a dedicated rigging lead. Joints are welded, grouted, and patched to PCI standards, and we hand off documentation that closes out the precast scope cleanly for the next trade.
We have erected total-precast parking decks, multi-story precast buildings, architectural cladding, and load-bearing wall-panel systems on projects ranging from county jails to university medical centers.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are you a PCI-Certified Erector?
- Yes. Assemblers Group has been a PCI-Certified Erector for more than 20 years, currently certified in categories S1, S2, and A — covering simple structural systems, complex structural systems, and architectural cladding.
- What sizes and types of precast do you erect?
- We routinely set hollow-core slabs, double-tees, wall panels, columns, beams, stairs, and architectural precast on projects ranging from single-story warehouses to multi-story hospitals and parking structures.
- Do you self-perform the work or sub it out?
- Self-performed. Our ironworkers, welders, and crane operators are on Assemblers' payroll — we don't subcontract the critical path of a precast package.
- Can you coordinate the crane as well?
- Yes. We own a fleet of 70- to 300-ton cranes and can package the lift plan, crane, and erection crew as a single scope.
